GUIDELINES FOR GIVING

You have prayed about your participation in our campaign. The Lord has led you to make a sacrificial commitment to our journey. You now have some practical questions about how to implement your commitment.

Here are a few thoughts that may help guide you.

DESIGNATION OF YOUR COMMITMENT

You can place your gift for the campaign in a normal giving envelope and simply designate Hope Again in the memo, or simply place your gift in a specially marked Hope Again envelope. All gifts received in a Hope Again envelope will go towards the campaign.

BEGINNING YOUR COMMITMENT

It is anticipated that giving on your commitment can begin on Celebration Sunday (May 5, 2024). This assumes that you have made a one-time gift or a weekly/monthly pledge. Otherwise, simply begin designating your gifts in accordance with the schedule indicated on your commitment card.

GIFTS OTHER THAN CASH

If part of your commitment consisted of the gift of a non-cash asset (such as stock, property, etc.), please contact campaign chair Bill Gaideski for details regarding the transfer of the asset to the church (our church office can get you in contact with him)..

GIVING TOWARD YOUR COMMITMENT

Giving toward our three-year campaign will begin in May of 2024 and the campaign will conclude in May of 2027. Your designation of gifts to the Hope Again campaign will help the leaders to continually evaluate our progress in achieving the overall campaign goal.

If at any time during the campaign you have questions regarding the status of your commitment, please contact campaign chair Bill Gaideski (our church office can get you in contact with him).

Thank you for your faithful support! Your gifts will constitute a permanent investment in the lives of so many people through the ministries of our church.

Q&A

If I should fall behind, will the church take steps to make me pay?

We will most certainly not take any action to collect on a voluntary financial commitment. Our purpose in this Campaign is to continue paying down debt to free up resources for the mission and vision God has given us to love and serve our community. We are simply asking that you pray and seek God's guidance as to what He would have you commit to Him.

Will I have the opportunity to revise my commitment?

Certainly, since this is a commitment between you and the Lord, you have the opportunity to revise your commitment. It would be helpful if changes could be communicated in a written manner so church leadership can revise their projections.
