We know entering into a new space can be intimidating! We definitely want you to feel like you know what to expect when you make your first visit to a weekend service. Here are some things you might want to know:
WEEKEND SERVICES
We offer two worship services on Sunday. Each service lasts a little over an hour and includes prayer, worship, scripture, announcements, and a message. Occasionally the service also includes communion, baptisms, or special presentations.
DRESS
The typical attire at Hope ranges from casual to "Sunday best." You'll see some people in jeans and t-shirts while others are in suits. Come wearing what you feel is appropriate and comfortable for worship.
PARKING
Hope has a large, paved parking lot and covered drop-off areas at our two entrances. For weekend worship gatherings, we encourage you to use the west entrance, which is closest to our sanctuary.
WELCOME
When you walk through the doors at Hope for a weekend worship service, you'll be met with a warm smile by one of our greeters. Visit the welcome center in the middle of the lobby and let us know you're a first time guest and our volunteers will be happy to help - we also have a gift for you! Ushers will be standing by the doors of the sanctuary to welcome you to the service. They can also assist in finding a seat for you and your family. All of our volunteers are here to help make your visit a great one.
CHILDREN
Hope Kids is an amazing place for kids to be on Sunday mornings! During the 11am service, Hope Kids has environments for kids birth-5th grade. When you arrive, please check-in with your child at the station located in the children's wing (east side of the building) where you will also pick them up after the worship service. If this is your first time visiting us, we will collect some basic information about you and your child(ren) in order to better serve you and make sure your kids have a fun and safe time!

TEENS
Hope Teens meets every week on Thursday Nights from 6:00-7:30pm in The Commons at Hope Community Church. Each week we sing songs, play games, hear a great message, break into grade-specific small groups - and, oh yes, there's food! Hope Teens is for any student from 6th-12th grade.

COFFEE
The coffee is always on before both the 9am and 11am services at Hope. Make sure you grab a cup in the lobby on us before you head into the sanctuary.
WORSHIP
Worship at Hope is not a performance. Our worship team doesn't strive to be a cover band of the latest artists; rather, they lead us in a mix of old hymns and modern worship songs. Each week you’re likely to hear some of both.
COMMUNION
At Hope, we practice "open communion," meaning everyone is welcome to receive communion with us if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. We take communion corporately once a month, and offer the communion elements at a response station at the end of each service weekly if you wish to take communion personally.
