CAMPAIGN EVENTS

There are several Campaign events that we would love to invite you to! These events will provide you with many opportunities to learn more about the campaign and join in tangibly and spiritually.



WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? 

Here’s what WILL NOT happen:
No one will ask you to attend a campaign event and expect you to fill out a commitment card at that moment.

Here’s what WILL happen:
All of us will be challenged to ask God what He intends for us to give

to this endeavor.

  • ADVANCE CHALLENGE MEETING
    Sunday, March 10 or Monday, March 11 at 6pm

    People within the church will gather to be spiritually challenged to pray about what God would have them give to the campaign. Everyone is welcome to attend one of these meetings, but you must RSVP with the church office by Wednesday, March 6th.

  • PRAYER BREAKFAST
    Saturday, March 16, at 8:30am

    This will be time to gather for a time of fellowship and guided prayer for this specific season at Hope. This event is open to everyone, sign ups will be available at the Welcome Center.

  • OPEN FORUM WITH PRACTICAL GIVING DISCUSSIONS
    Sunday, March 17 @ Breaking Bread

    In this presentation (45-60 minutes in length), we will discuss the vision for paying off the debt and get answers to your questions in a small-group setting during the Breaking Bread potluck lunch.

  • TAX-WISE GIVING SEMINAR
    Sunday, March 24 at 10:15am or 4pm

    This seminar is aimed toward those who might be thinking about giving “Gifts of Assets” such as personal property, land, stocks, or other non-cash gifts. We will give you tips on how to make these donations and how to maximize your tax benefits while doing so. Sign up at the Welcome Center.

  • OPEN FORUM
    Wednesday, March 27

    This is your LAST CHANCE to hear the presentation talking about the plan and dream for the future of our church and being asked to prayerfully consider how God might be asking you to participate. We continue to become more and more resolved that God is up to something INCREDIBLE. We want EVERYONE at Hope to have the chance to be a part of it. This will be a presentation followed by a time of questions and answers.

  • CHALLENGE SUNDAY
    Sunday, April 14th

    If you think it’s all about money and filling out pledge cards, you will be pleasantly surprised. The “challenge” of Challenge Sunday will be this: Be still. Listen expectantly. Ask boldly. Obey humbly. We will not talk about equal giving but, rather, equal sacrifice.

  • PRAYER EVENT
    8pm Friday, April 19 to 8pm Saturday, April 20

    Prayer is the key. We will pray non-stop for 24 hours asking God to help us reach our goal and to bless our lives. Please sign up at the link below or at the Welcome Center to pray for one or more time slots.

  • COMMITMENT SUNDAY
    Sunday, April 21

    On this day we will turn in our sealed Commitment Cards. This will be a time of commitment, sacrifice, and faith. We will have the opportunity to invest in something larger than ourselves - something that will outlast our lives on this earth.

  • CELEBRATION SUNDAY
    Sunday, May 5

    We all have 10,000 reasons to praise the Lord for His goodness. On Celebration Sunday, May 5th we will announce the total amount committed in faith toward our project. Our goal is $1,000,000. We believe that we can reach this amount with God’s help. Whatever the result, we want to give God all the praise and glory!
