JEFF AND MARY NEUMANN

MUSICAL GUESTS

We are excited to have Jeff and Mary Neumann from Dowagiac, Michigan provide our special music this year. Many of you may remember them from one of our past Women's Fest events and if you've never heard of them, you are in for a real treat.

workshops

Participants are invited to attend break out workshops during the event. Each person will have the opportunity to attend three workshops of their choosing.

STRETCH CLASS

PRESENTED BY: SUE CLARK

Designed for those of us with limited mobility. In this workshop, Sue will show you ways that you can strengthen and stretch your muscles using a chair. Things you can do in the comfort of your own home while you are seated in a chair. These stretches will also help to improve your balance and mobility.

SERVING: YOUR MOTIVE VERSUS YOUR CALLING

PRESENTED BY: JAMIE BOLING

Are you listening to the Holy Spirit or the expectations of society? Join us as we discuss what serving means and how you can listen for what God would have you do.

INSPIRATIONAL PLAQUE SET

PRESENTED BY: STEPHANIE HEIPLE & SHEILA FROST

Make a wooden inspiration plaque to set on your counter or shelf. We'll decoupage wooden blocks and then create 2-3 inspirational or seasonal quotes to change out. These would make great gifts for Christmas, birthdays, someone who needs encouraging, an "I've been thinking of you" gift, OR keep it for yourself to enjoy.

WHAT DOES ELDER CARE MEAN AND HOW TO ACCESS THOSE SERVICES

PRESENTED BY: KERYL CONKRIGHT

Starting with the basic description of growing older and what it means, Keryl will then move forward and share information on: medical issues and complications; memory loss, what does it mean to get older and what it looks like; physician and medical care access; and other services such as home care and skilled support care that may be needed.

HOSPITALITY COASTERS

PRESENTED BY: GLORIA WILLIAMS

Don't know how to knit or crochet? Let Gloria and her team of volunteers teach you how while you make a hospitality coaster. Those who wish to crochet will need to bring a J or K hook and if you want to learn to knit you will need either a size 8 or 10 set of knitting needles. We will supply the yarn.

GENEALOGY 101

PRESENTED BY: DARLENE TROYER

Genealogy, the exploration of family history, is one of the fastest growing pastimes and hobbies today. It is a never-ending puzzle that will lead you on a journey you never expected. Each new piece of information added to the puzzle will help to form a picture of your family and who they were.

If you've wanted to learn more about your ancestors but weren't sure how to begin, let Darlene help you get started and learn the basic of genealogy research. Discover how to use the information you already have; where to find records and documents you don't have; and most importantly, how to record, file, and save your research findings.

Featured ministry

Our Breathe committee has again chosen to team with and support a local ministry organization this year during our women's conference. It is our goal to show ways we can be supportive of these organizations. Be it food, money, or volunteering a few hours of your time, your help is needed!

This year, Breathe will hold a BABY SHOWER for the Niles Pregnancy Care Center during our event. Their need is great, so we ask that all attendees provide a gift. All baby items are needed, including diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, baby clothes (up to 2T), baby socks, car seats, and cribs.

Please consider helping them provide much needed supplies for the most needy and precious resource of all, tiny little children of God. YOU can make a difference in the life of someone whom you will likely never know.
